In its dedication to fostering accountability, transparency and service delivery within the province, officials from the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature conducted a pre-oversight visit to the Northern Cape Department of Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs (NCCOGHSTA).

Members of the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature (MPLS) alongside permanent delegates of the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) visited Kuruman, a town in the John Taolo Gaetsewe (JTG) district as part of the NCOP provincial week on Wednesday, 18 September 2024.

Public participation is one of the key roles of the legislature. To exercise this role, the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature held a series of women's dialogues across all five districts of the Northern Cape in celebration of Women's Month, under the theme: "Empowering women, transforming communities, and creating active citizens".
